How long does it take? Is it difficult to walk around?
The duration of our tours is 2.5 hours, although some tours are 3.5 hours. Please check 'our walks' webpage for more information. Lisbon is a hilly city. Eventually we will have to go up a hill but nothing to worry about.
How much food is to be expected?
We will try about 8 to 10 different types of food... You will not leave hungry we promise!!
What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
When you make your booking we ask what dietary restrictions you have, though unfortunately we are unable to make substitutions for those individuals with a gluten or lactose intolerance.
How many people can take the tour?
The maximum number of people on the tour is 10 people, except for bespoke tours.
Are bathrooms available during the tour?
Yes bathrooms are available at several of the food tasting locations.
Are cameras permitted on the tour?
Please take photos, post them online, tag and share them with your friends on twitter and facebook. We welcome you to visit our social websites online. Find the links below.
Are there food tastings available for vegetarians?
We have some fish options for those who eat it and there are also veggie options too. Please let us know when you're booking you want a vegetarian tour.
Are young children allowed to participate on a tour? If so how much will I need to pay?
Children are allowed to participate and if not eating, no ticket is required. If they wish to eat during the tour we ask you to make a reservation for a reduced child price available on our website page 'our walks'.
Are the tours dependant on weather conditions?
All our tours will carry on unrelated to the weather conditons, rain or shine. We will be indoors in most of the places we visit and we should be able to shelter most of the times. We advise Lisbon Foodie Tours does not refund tickets cancelled in less than 48 hours.
Is transportation provided?
No transportation is provided in our tours, but we are happy to call you a taxi or give you directions to the nearest bus or metro stop.
Are tours offered only in English?
At the current time our tours are led in English and in Portuguese. Please mention in which language you wish to take your tour otherwise english is the default language.
Can I book a private tour?
Yes we do! Lisbon Foodie Walks offers some private group tours (see our tour options in 'our walks' webpage), please mail us at lisbon.foodie.walks@gmail.com to inquire about availability and pricing.
