A true foodie, extremely curious about food, a fan of traditional Portuguese cuisine, fusion, patisserie and street food.
Lived in London and Berlin for 9 years where acquired a real taste for detail in food. Attended Chinese and Japanese dumplings courses, as well as Vietnamese food courses in London. Family business owner of a regional café in Sintra - Búzio Café - in Praia das Maçãs (Apple beach, by the Altantic coast).
Eager to try new food experiences and explore unknown ingredients. For many years has taken friends on food tours throughout the city with good humour and a particular taste for delicacies. It came to a point when the request were too many and Lisbon Foodie Walks was essential.
What is a foodie walk?
Our walks take you on a palate tempting tour through downtown Lisbon. We explore the most well hidden secrets of our patisseries, bakeries, restaurants, wineries around also contemplating the beautiful architecture, curiosities and cultural marks. We will taste different types of local cuisine, sweet small cakes, petiscos (the equivalent for 'tapas' in portuguese), a couple of drinks and, of course, some cheese.

What to expect in our walks?
On our walks you can try some of our favourites:

crispy and freshly grilled portuguese 'chouriço' in traditional bread.
